over the years I've had multiple blogs, social media accounts, and even a podcast because somehow I just have this urge to share what excited me. however, there are some things I feel are a bit more... intimate, than I care to passing on to the algorithmic feeds.
these platforms always end up optimising for engagement, and I find the discourse there to be progressively triggering and divisive. the things I care about: creative work, music, writing – they don't lend themselves well to that in my experience. I've noticed I'm much more engaged in private conversations than on the algorithmic feeds these days.
